The Pac-12 Conference has extended an offer to Texas State to join the league in July 2026, and barring any late changes, the school is expected to officially accept the invitation on Monday, according to multiple people briefed on the Pac-12’s decision. The Austin Sports Journal first reported the news.

After weeks of smoke and internet hints, the Bobcats will become the eighth full member of the rebuilt Pac-12.
