Office chairs sold at TJ Maxx and HomeGoods are being recalled because the back of the chair can break or detach from the seat base while a person is seated, posing a fall hazard.
The chairs come in black, brown, cream, floral, gray, light blue, mint, navy, orange, pink or white colors bearing product numbers GT646, GT646A, GT646AA, GT646AB or GT646AABO.
The chairs were sold at Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, and Homesense stores nationwide from June 2019 through December 2022 for between $60 and $70, the CPSC said.
Consumers can take the chairs, sold from June 2019 to December 2022, to any Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods or Homesense store for full refunds, the CPSC said.
