Sunday River says cold weather over the past couple of days allowed it to make enough snow to open the Lock Mountain Triple Lift to provide access to the black diamond Upper T2 trail on Monday.

Sunday River did note that T2 will be ungroomed. The resort highly recommends that only expert skiers and riders hit the trail at this point.

Back then I noted that Sunday River is a major-league mountain, with 18 lifts and 128 trails spread over eight interconnected mountain peaks. They are now up to 132 trails, but down to 16 lifts.
