Sudan’s new Prime Minister Kamil Idris has dissolved the country’s caretaker government, state news agency SUNA reported late on Sunday.

Sudan’s new prime minister dissolved the caretaker government Sunday, a day after he was sworn in before the chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and army chief, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.

Sudan's army-aligned government on Tuesday severed its diplomatic ties with the United Arab Emirates, declaring the Gulf country an "aggressor state", the Sudanese defense minister said.
