For the first time in over a century, a royal Egyptian tomb has been uncovered by archaeologists. The tomb was uncovered in 2022, but has only now been confirmed as the final resting place of King Thutmose II.

This is the first royal tomb unearthed since Howard Carter's historic discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922.
