Environment Canada is warning Toronto to brace for blowing snow Wednesday night through to early Thursday because the forecast is calling for heavy flurries to combine with strong winds.

The highway was briefly shut down. A tractor trailer loaded with gingerbread houses 🚛🎄 was blown over by a wind gust on #Hwy10 in @YourCaledon earlier today. The driver sustained minor injuries.

On Sunday at 12:08 a.m. a wind advisory was released by the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA valid from 9 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m.
