Black Adam and Stripe are just the latest additions to MultiVersus, which officially launches its first season today with the addition of Morty to the line-up coming later this week.

In Stripe's story, he comes up with a scheme to destroy his mortal enemy Gizmo and destroy mogwais. If playing as Gizmo, all the enemies are generic gremlins.

Meanwhile, Stripe is the Big Bad featured in the 1984 classic Gremlins, and looks set to join MultiVersus Season 1 at some point down the line.

While fans can now pit Gizmo against Stripe, this latest MultiVersus update is substantial. The other major piece to this is the newly added Halloween Event which runs from October 12 to November 15.

Warner Bros. and Player First Games released a new teaser trailer for MultiVersus on Thursday, hinting at the upcoming addition of Gizmo and Stripe from 1984’s Gremlins.

Updated (1:15 p.m. PT on August 15, 2022): MultiVersus officially confirmed that Black Adam and Stripe from the Gremlins movies are coming to MultiVersus later in Season 1.

The newest MultiVersus patch is here, and it adds Stripe the Gremlin to the roster. There’s also a new announcer, a candy currency, and a Halloween event with seasonal cosmetics.
