The more than half mile long wall, called the Blinkerwall, was likely used by Stone Age hunter-gatherers to herd reindeer toward a shooting blind.

Rising sea levels then submerged the structure until it was rediscovered in the 21st century. This would make the Blinkerwall among the oldest and largest Stone Age megastructures in Europe.
