PHILADELPHIA — Aerosmith has postponed a half-dozen dates on their farewell tour including Toronto because frontman Steven Tyler injured his vocal cords during a performance, Tyler announced Monday.

Tyler says in a statement on Aerosmith’s account on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he’s heartbroken to postpone the show and is on doctor’s orders to not sing for the next 30 days.

Aerosmith have postponed a series of dates on their final North American tour — including their September 12 performance in Toronto — due to issues surrounding Steven Tyler 's vocal health.
