The annual State Fair Meadowlands starts its three-week run on Friday, bringing with it the smell of cotton candy and corn dogs wafting over the New Jersey Turnpike.

The NJ state fair is returning to MetLife with their assortment of rides, fun games and variety of food on Thursday and will operate until July 7.
