The Region of Waterloo is asking people to prepare to use less water this week because a massive pipe that supplies about 20 per cent of the region’s drinking water needs to be shut off for repairs.
The Region of Waterloo has started work on a large water pipe in need of repair and is asking affected areas to scale back on water usage. The repairs are expected to be finished on or about Aug. 25.
Footage has been captured showing water shooting into the air after a large pipe burst in a field. It happened at about 14:00 GMT near Ambergate in Derbyshire.
