A Kitchener-based company that makes a 3D printer extruder, allowing users to print paste materials like silicone and cake icing, hit their Kickstarter campaign goal of $30,000 in less than 24 hours.
The extruder is designed to work with most stepper-based (a type of motor) 3D desktop printers. If your printer uses regular plastic filament, it will probably work just fine with the Discov3ry.
