Bed bugs are small, flat, oval-shaped insects that feed on the blood of humans and animals while they sleep. They’re reddish-brown in color and typically about the size of an apple seed.

Abram said the stink bug first appeared in B.C. in 2015. The samurai wasp, Trissolcus japonicus, lays its egg inside the egg of a brown marmorated stink bug.
