The Nepal-India border in Siraha district will be closed for a total of eight days in two phases, due to the upcoming Loksabha elections in the neighboring Indian state of Bihar.

The Rupantaran project, implemented across 500 Farmer Field Business School (FFBS) groups in Saptari and Siraha districts, engages 12,500 smallholder farmers, most of them women.
