Reprising their roles from 2019’s “The Lion King” are eth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, and John Kani as Rafiki.

It picked up after the events of The Lion King, as Simba and Nala left Pride Rock to give birth to their second cub. As they did this, they left Kiara in the care of Timon, Pumbaa, and Rafiki.

"The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar" will feature the voices of Rob Lowe and Gabrielle Union as Simba and Nala, respectively, while Max Charles will star as their cub, Kion.
