UPPER DEERFIELD, N.J. (WPVI) -- A former Cumberland County janitor apologized Friday during his sentencing hearing for contaminating food with bodily fluids at a school cafeteria in Upper Deerfield.

While some students belong to the “lunch from home” club, many are regular cafeteria patrons. As direct consumers, they are more involved in the school food system than almost anyone else.
