In 1903, Philadelphia toy maker A. Schoenhut jumped on the proverbial circus bandwagon when he introduced a line of miniature circus figures called the Humpty Dumpty Circus.

Thereafter, Schoenhut's toy production expanded to include dolls, dollhouses, blocks, and other wooden toys. The Humpy Dumpty Circus was a great hit.
