Out-of-town visitors to San Marcos' City Park, one of the San Marcos River's popular river access points, will have to pay a parking fee starting on July 1.
The proposal, discussed during San Marcos' City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 20, means out-of-town visitors would be charged between $5 and $25 in order to access the San Marcos River.
