Sailing Saugatuck, a family-owned charter company that’s been sailing on Lake Michigan for 14 years, runs a two-hour sunset sail every day during the summertime, through Oct. 7.

Even if you own your own boat, there are times when you want to go on a local sunset cruise. Maybe you have more family members visiting than will fit comfortably aboard your boat.

Our boat was built in 1976; it had a tiller, a tiny cockpit and a lot of nostalgia. We added refrigeration (which broke), GPS and autopilot (which broke), but not much else.
