FILE, A slopper served up by Gray’s Coors Tavern in Pueblo in May, 2022. For the second year in a row, Cactus Flower Mexican Restaurant and Cantina on Pueblo’s north side has the top slopper.

As the top spot, the Cactus Flower will hold on to a traveling chile trophy awarded each year. Like last year, nominations were submitted online and the public got to vote.

The 3-D Eats & Tea empire is continuing to grow with a sit-down restaurant slated to open this summer in the former Cactus Flower Café West building at 6881 W. U.S. Highway 98.
