Spar’s online shopping platform, Spar2U, will launch at many of its stores in the coming months, according to the group’s interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2022.

Spar has officially announced its partnership with Uber Eats in South Africa to expand its grocery and liquor delivery footprint and supplement its Spar2U service.

The Spar group and McCarthy Online have entered into an agreement to establish a national online grocery shopping network which will include more than 50 stores by early next year.
