Ramadan songs may be played to welcome the month. So-called Ramadan tents, featuring food and entertainment, pop up to cater to gatherings.

Throughout the years, it has been sung by many known Arab singers, including Asala and Sherine. Egyptian actor and singer Mohamed El-Sharnouby released a music video of Ramadan Gana back in 2018.

The song garnered eight million views on YouTube alone since released on Mohamed Ramadan’s 14.7-million-subscriber channel on 11 March.
