On the transmitter side, we have little more than an antenna connected to the common side of a digital RF switch, an Analog Devices ADG901 eval board.

The Ubiquity transmitter can output up to 1 W (3 W EIRP) and automatically charges multiple RF-enabled devices that come into its charging zone, with no charging mats needed.

The RemoteRemote transmitter sports a five-button array and measures 2.25 x 1.5 x 0.5 inches. It can operate up to approximately 100 feet away from the iPod, and is powered using a 3v Lithium battery.
