VW once toyed with building an electric sports car. New design sketches reveal what might have been – and the inspiration behind it.

The latest example is an unnamed pickup that could easily work as a GMC. The sketch was created by automotive designer Bean Zavala who has been employed by General Motors since 2013.

More precisely, the virtual automotive artist behind the Evren Ozgun Spy Sketch channel on YouTube has a 'slightly' different interpretation of the upcoming 2026 BMW 7 Series.
