To turn off Joy-Cons, you don’t really have to do anything if they’re still attached to your Switch. They’ll turn off after a short period of time when your Switch is powered down.

To turn them on or off, the driver has to open a sub-menu in the truck's standard 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Since the truck has automatic lights, you shouldn't need to do that often.
