The space between the Vancouver Art Gallery and the B.C. Law Courts in the 800 block of Robson Street is now a permanent public plaza, replacing the temporary seasonal plazas at the location.
The city wants to create a pedestrian-only plaza at the 800 block of Robson Street with permanent seating and improvements to the Hornby and Robson intersection for cyclists and pedestrians.
The completed plaza will feature improved lighting and power connections, and a space for year-round events with moveable seating and tables, as well as additional benches and lighting.
