ASME code further required that, after blowing down, “all valves set at pressures of 375 psi (2,600 kPa) or greater shall close at a pressure not lower than 96 percent of their set pressure ….” ...

The valve requires no elastomer seats or seal, which results in the ability to handle temperatures from –65 to 515°F (–54 to 268°C) and a set pressure range of 15 to 6,170 psig.
