Longtime “Pokémon” voice actor James Carter Cathcart has died. He was 71 years old. Cathcart, who was also known as “Jimmy Zoppi,” died of throat cancer, according to Deadline.

A national convention centered around the Pokemon universe heads to Erie on Aug. 2 at Quality Inn and Suites Conference Center at 8040 Perry Highway.
