Transit police have arrested a 46-year-old man in connection with an alleged attack on a 18-year-old Muslim woman that she says was preceded by a racist rant.

A man, 46; a woman, 44; and a girl, 15, were taken to the hospital and later died. A nine-year-old boy remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said Monday.
