Phased-array radars are not without disadvantages. Most are functional through a cone of just 120 degrees, because the width of the main beam diminishes the farther it gets from broadside.

The prototype of the Phased Array Radar cost $45 million. Carlis doesn't yet know how much it would cost to upgrade the entire country, but they hope to have it ready in the 2030s.
