In their new action-comedy movie The Pickup, Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson play armored truck drivers who are reluctantly pulled into a casino heist when a burglar ( Keke Palmer) hijacks their vehicle. The comedians tell Entertainment Weekly that they became fast friends on set.

A wheel almost literally comes off the armored truck where much of the action and most of the comedy takes place in Tim Story’s action-comedy “The Pickup” (a rather confusing name considering that’s another type of truck altogether).

What Movies Will It Remind You Of?: The Pickup is officially Forgettable Streaming Action-Comedy No. 466, after junk like Back in Action, Red Notice and about a half-dozen Kevin Hart and/or Mark Wahlberg vehicles including, but not limited to, Lift, Me Time and The Union.
