Pearland Golf Club at Country Place, located at 3123 Flower Ln. near the intersection of McHard Rd. and Hwy 288, held its groundbreaking ceremony for the back nine holes on Wednesday (Feb. 18).

About a dozen small perch found dead in a pond at Southwyck Golf Club in Pearland likely died as a result of the recent rapid change in weather, said Jennifer Spoor, the course's general manager.
