Jeanine Norrish, chair of the guild's community outreach, has organized this year's 9-Patch Party for the quilt show. She has collected enough 3-inch fabric squares to fill several totes.

Alyssum Patch Contemporary Quilt Shop recently opened in downtown Howell. The shop offers quilting supplies, beginner-friendly sewing machines for rent, and a space for crafters to work on projects.
