Escambia County approved $10 million in upgrades for the aging facility in 2024. Work is now underway on several projects including a new ice floor.

The trial run of the new Chandni Chowk parking lot in New Delhi will begin soon. The six-storey parking facility, constructed under a public-private partnership, can accommodate over 2,300 vehicles.

GTT Parking, the garage's owner, said a similar incident happened in September 2016 in the same location, but on a different floor in which no one was hurt.
