In cities across Canada on Saturday, volunteers came together to try and help front-line workers get the equipment they need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Staff and volunteers at the University of Ottawa have collected a haul of personal protective equipment to help front-line health care workers in the COVID-19 fight.
This is where Davis Connelly comes in. He's been using his delivery service, Express Parcel, to send PPE free-of-charge to front-line workers as far north as Timmins, and as far south as Gravenhurst.
While PPE, like gloves, sleeves, offer protection against cuts, burns, abrasion, chemical, impact, crush, vibration, or other hazards, they cannot protect workers from all workplace dangers.
