The search for missing hiker Susan Lane-Fournier, 61, took a tragic turn after her body was found over the weekend in Welches, Oregon, an unincorporated community at the base of Mount Hood.

The search for missing hiker Susan Lane-Fournier, 61, took a tragic turn after her body was found over the weekend in Welches, Oregon, an unincorporated community at the base of Mount Hood.

Officers said they were called to the trail just before 4 p.m. for a report of a body that had been discovered. Upon arrival, police said they found the body of a man that had been decomposing.
