Now, with One UI 7 by default, they’ve decided to split them up. If you swipe down from the left or middle of the top of your screen, you’re only going to see your notifications.
However, with One UI 7, Samsung switched to an iPhone-like interface wherein swiping down from the left shows the notification tray, while swiping from the right opens the quick settings panel.
