The tomb, located in the city of Chifeng in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China, is between 5,000 and 5,100 years old, dating to a time when the Hongshan culture flourished in the region.

The mystery of a 600-year-old mummified creature that looks like dragon has been solved. The remains are part of a collection at the Japanese royal family’s Shosoin Treasure House in Nara.
