After wearing game caps with a larger Old English ‘D’ last season, the Tigers will revert to a smaller logo for the 2019 season, according to multiple persons with knowledge of the situation.

The team went back to a navy block D from 1931-33, but switched back to the 1930 Old English D in 1934. That logo would remain representative of the team until 1956.
