Super Bowl LIX security will have 2,000 law enforcement officers on duty, along with 200 state troopers and 350 national guard troops, to patrolling the area.

With the sheer amount of law enforcement on every street corner and security measures in place, “New Orleans will be the safest place to be anywhere in the country,” said Phillip Constantin, an adviser with the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

The buzz of the Big Easy was alive on Monday night, as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles kicked off Super Bowl LIX festivities. So too was the presence of law enforcement, with hundreds of National Guard troops flooding the downtown area alongside local police in an unprecedented security team-up for the NFL's momentous week.
