USC football showcased new uniforms on Tuesday via their social media pages, as the Trojans will don throwback threads for homecoming against Nebraska. The uniforms are set to celebrate the 1972 USC National Championship program.

One of the notable differences in the throwback threads, as opposed to USC's primary uniform, is the three stripes on the shoulders where the jersey number usually is. The shoulder stripes were discontinued in 2002 with the uniform's newest version.
