At its best, Matilda The Musical captures the zeitgeist of our times, the essence of Trump World, in songs like Mrs. Wormwood’s Loud. People don’t like people who are clever.

“Matilda, The Musical” will continue with additional performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 and Feb. 28-March 1 at the Simmons Center Theatre. A matinee will play at 2 p.m. Feb. 23.
