THE Mooloolaba Surf Club is holding its Nippers sign-on this month, just in time to welcome families to join an action-packed, fun-filled summer at the beach.
“Many of our nippers play rugby league in the winter months, so the kids are looking forward to blending their league skills with surf sports,” Mooloolaba Nippers chairman Matthew Horder said.
The Sunshine Coast Nipper Branch Championships started at Mooloolaba Beach on Sunday and gave young athletes a chance to qualify for the state titles held at Kirra Beach, Gold Coast next month.
