A young monkey named Shakina enjoyed splashing around in the pool on a particularly hot day. Another monkey and Shakina's owner gave her company as she swam and played energetically.

Kane Smith shared footage from the incident in a March 19 TikTok. The clip starts with Smith lounging in a Thai hotel swimming pool. Monkeys soon begin to surround the pool and the tourist.

In the footage, Smith, visibly distressed, attempts to retreat to the other side of the pool as the monkeys slowly edge closer. "No, go away," he repeatedly says, trying to keep the animals at bay.
