The miniature train models are made to scale and the museum partners with HUB Division, Inc. of the Northeast Region of the National Model Railroad Association to make the layouts come to life.

This exhibit featured six model trains that were traveling through a landscape composed entirely of LEGO bricks and mini figures. Railroads in the Park is held at Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland.

These model train creators and fans are members of the Long Island Garden Railway Society, formed in the late 1980s.
