A brush fire broke out near structures on Monday afternoon close to the U.S-Mexico border and highway 94 in southeastern San Diego County, Cal Fire reports.
By 1 p.m., Cal Fire reported firefighters were able to stop the forward rate of spread of the brush fire. At 2 p.m. Monday, Cal Fire said the Border 10 Fire was burning at 5 acres and 50% contained.
