In Microsoft 365, there are hundreds of icons that represent software, files and more. When a Microsoft Word document needs pizazz, consider adding icons by following the steps in this tutorial.
Launch Microsoft Word. Click the Insert tab, then click the Icons button. Select an icon, then click Insert. Click the Graphic Format tab and click the Convert to Shape button.
The proposed new icons have colour gradients, adding more depth to the layers, confirming that 3D is very much back. This makes them feel more fun perhaps – less dull and serious Microsoft Office.
But it can be found again. Create a new document in Microsoft Word, then click File > Save As. Make sure you save the document as a “Word97-2003 document”, or “.doc”, file. Credit: Justin Pot ...
The new icon is identical to the Copilot one, instead of the blue and purple Microsoft 365 icon that’s used right now. Microsoft has been struggling with its Copilot branding recently.
