It's frustrating when you're working away on your Windows 11 (or Windows 10) PC and all of a sudden, your taskbar disappears. Poof, it's gone, for no apparent reason. Don't fret.

The new position places the weather button next to the system tray when the Taskbar is left-aligned. This mimics the Windows 10 Taskbar, which has "News and Interests" in this spot.

Microsoft wants you to move on from the Windows 10 taskbar, or at least that's what the company's latest actions suggest. Windows 11 Build 26002 recently shipped to Insiders in the Canary Channel.
