Gronkowski first worked with Fox during his initial retirement from playing during the 2019 NFL season. He ultimately returned to the NFL, where he won his fourth Super Bowl with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before announcing his second retirement in 2022.

Fox Sports announced Friday that the former Patriots tight end has been added to its “Fox NFL Sunday” studio program in a weekly role.

Following the retirement of Jimmy Johnson, former NFL player Rob Gronkowski will become the new NFL on Fox co-host.
