Initially recruited by Brian Peabody for the Pima Aztecs, Max chose to attend four-year college at Central Michigan University, where his father once played.

Brock Mendoza scored 12, while Max Majerle, Wes Ball and Gabe Oldham each added 10. Pima led Scottsdale 64-18 at the half. 18 points ties the fewest the Aztecs have given up in a half this season.

Additionally, Pima added Max Majerle a transfer from Central Michigan, the sophomore is averaging 14.9 points per game. “The maturity level of those five guys in unbelievable,’’ Peabody said.

Skyttä is the fifth transfer addition this offseason joining Tay Smith (Lenoir-Rhyne), Max Majerle (Pima CC), Trevian Carson (DMACC) and 6'8" wing Markhi Strickland (Western Michigan).
